Billing, the free trial, refunds and canceling, and the use of this website. Every figure here is the same one shown on the pricing page.

Billing

Billing terms

Billing periods

Monthly: the monthly price, billed each month
6 months: 10% off the monthly price, billed up front for 6 months
Yearly: 15% off the monthly price, billed up front for 12 months
Discounted prices are rounded to whole dollars a month

Free trial

7 days free on every plan; a card is required to start
Your card is charged on the day the 7-day trial ends unless you cancel before then. The date is shown when you start the trial and emailed to you.
Cancel during the trial and nothing is charged

Refunds

A full refund on request within 7 days of the first charge

Canceling

No contract on monthly billing: cancel any time
Cancel a monthly plan after the trial and the final bill covers only the days used that month
On a 6-month or yearly term, the plan stays active to the end of the paid term; after the 7-day refund window a prepaid term is not refunded

Beta Program

Beta Program terms

A beta member answers a 25-question survey each week, shows real use of the feature being tested, and may send more feedback any time through the assistant. In return the feature is added to the member's current plan without moving up a tier. Details are on the Beta Program page.
