FAQ

Payouts and held funds: questions

Does Venditory hold my money?
  • No, card payments are taken and settled by MiCamp.
  • Venditory never receives card funds, never holds them and adds no fee of its own to a sale.
  • MiCamp pays Venditory a small share of its fees as its referral partner.
Who decides how fast I am paid?
  • MiCamp does, in the merchant agreement you sign with it.
  • Venditory cannot speed up, slow down or release a deposit, so questions about a specific deposit go to MiCamp.
Can a processor hold back part of my sales?
  • Any payment processor can hold funds under its merchant agreement, for example a reserve kept from each sale, or a pause while an account is reviewed.
  • The terms for your account are the ones in your agreement with MiCamp.
What should I read in the agreement before I sign?
  • Check the deposit schedule and which days count.
  • Check whether a reserve is kept, how much and when it is released.
  • Check what starts a review and how much notice you get.
  • Check how a refund or a dispute is taken out of a deposit.
  • Check who to call when a deposit is late.
Where do I ask about a late deposit?
  • Start with MiCamp, which holds the funds.
  • For anything about how the sale was recorded in Venditory, write to [email protected] and a person replies within 1 business day.
Does my card processing change if I leave Venditory?
  • Your merchant account is an agreement between you and MiCamp.
  • Closing a Venditory plan does not close it, and the data deletion page lists what happens to your Venditory records.
